Features
Cable runs & lengths
Draw every run from the device through its corners to the closet. GITECHY Design adds the drop from the ceiling, the closet allowance, the service loop and your slack – per run and per cable type.

Real lengths
Length on the plan + drop from the ceiling to the device + closet + service loop, then your slack percentage, times the number of cables.
Totals and boxes
Totals per cable type on the sheet and the project, and how many 1,000 ft (or 305 m) boxes to order.
Ethernet limit
Runs of Cat cable longer than 328 ft (100 m) are flagged so you can add an IDF or a switch.
Your cable types
Cat6, Cat6A, 18/2, 18/4, 22/6, fibre – your list, colours on the plan, prices in the parts list.
Your settings
1
Ceiling height
Used for the drop to each device from its mounting height.
2
Closet allowance
Extra length at the end of each run for the rack or panel.
3
Slack
A percentage on top of every run.
